Caitlin Sheek
A writer from Southern California
Caitlin Sheek is an American Author, Poet and multi-discipline Writer from California.
Starting her career in the film industry surrounding Los Angeles, Caitlin has always expressed her emotions, opinions and experiences in words.
From a young age, she has used poetry and the written word to process her neurodiverse perspective, her queer identity and the world around her.
Publishing her first poetry collection aged 24, Caitlin has kept an even balance between her creative writing and her written exploration of the subjects that fascinate her, from gender, music and religion to politics, society and culture.
An Author with 3 published collections; ‘The First Seed, Reclamation, and Cut the Small Talk’, a zine, 'What of the Daughters', as well as a host of essays, short stories and credited film work, Caitlin is working on exciting long-term projects at present whilst also continuing to contribute to publications in both the US and Europe.
